Avondale Pre-School Screening
Friday, April 21st from 12:30 - 3:30
Children are eligible for developmental screening if they reside in the Avondale School District, will be three years of age on or before May 1, 2017 and will not turn five years old before September 1, 2017.

This no-cost screening is offered through the Avondale School District Special Education Department and provides parents with valuable information regarding their child's development. Avondale employees, trained in early childhood development will observe your child in an informal play atmosphere for 30 - 45 minutes. Areas observed will include social, motor, communication, and conceptual development. Hearing screening is also available. Following the observation period parents will have the opportunity to conference with the examiner.

If you are interested in having your pre-school child screened, please call the Avondale School District Student Services office at 248-537-6004 to schedule an appointment.
