Guidance and Support
What makes Pathways unique is the guidance and support offered to students during their 9th and 10th grade years in an effort to help them make informed decisions that impact the rest of their high school years and beyond.
Summer support sessions combined with frequently scheduled seminars during the school year will be offered to all students who are part of the Pathways Program. Topics and experiences include, but are not limited to: field trips, team building, campus tours, guest speakers, study skills, time management, job shadowing, portfolio development, career exploration, community service and character education.
Avondale School District engages with local businesses and organizations as well as institutions of higher learning in order to provide unique programming for our students.
We know that our students have individual strengths and interests and dreams that require us to think beyond the traditional classroom. We align with partners who support us in our efforts to provide our students with relevant and authentic learning experiences.
